Room Description

Our Double Rooms with Sea View are compact rooms with plenty of character, combining Dersaadet’s traditional interiors with views across Istanbul’s Old City towards the Sea of Marmara. Measuring 15–16 square metres (161–172 square feet), including the bathroom, they feature either one double bed or two twin beds and accommodate up to two guests. Classical wooden furniture, traditional fabrics and decorative details give each room a warm, distinctive atmosphere in keeping with the character of our reconstructed 19th-century Ottoman house. Located on the second and third floors, the rooms look out across the historic rooftops and residential fabric of the Old City, with the Sea of Marmara beyond. The varied rooflines and neighboring houses are part of the long-established character of this part of Istanbul, giving the view a strong sense of place. Each room has a private bathroom with shower.
